‘Metro Bank Alert Message’ Phishing Email

According to this email, which purports to be from the UK’s Metro Bank, you haven’t viewed your last 3 online statements.   The email suggests that you click a link to go online and read your statements.

However, the email is not from Metro Bank.   Instead, it is a phishing scam designed to steal your bank account login details and other sensitive personal and financial information.

Clicking the link opens a fraudulent website that has been designed to look like the genuine Metro Bank home page.
