Or it may be designed to steal sensitive login details and other personal information from your computer.<\/p>\n<p>Criminals have repeatedly used fake &#8216;undelivered parcel&#8217; emails as a means of distributing malware. \u00a0 Similar <a href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/australia-post-your-package-has-experienced-an-exception-malware-email\/\">fake Australia Post emails<\/a> have been used as a malware vector since at least 2011.<\/p>\n<p>And alternative versions have falsely claimed to be from other high-profile delivery companies including <a title=\"FedEx Incorrect Delivery Address Malware Email\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/fake-fedex-invoice-malware.shtml\">FedEx<\/a>, <a title=\"USPS Malware Emails\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/usps-malware.shtml\">USPS<\/a>, and the <a title=\"Royal Mail Lost or Missing Package Malware Email\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/royal-mail-lost-missing-package-malware.shtml\">Royal Mail<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0355887770822260\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"9162856233\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p>Be very wary of any email that claims that a parcel delivery failed and that you should click a link or open an attached file to get more information or print a shipping label.<\/p>\n<p>Australia Post will never ask you to click a link or button in an email to print off a label to redeem a package.
