The report \u00a0claims that the event \u00a0has been confirmed by NASA and this is its first occurrence for more than \u00a01 million years.<\/p>\n<p>But, of course, the claims in the report are fanciful nonsense. There will be no day of complete darkness in June. Nor has NASA confirmed any such event. (For the record, if you happen to be \u00a0<a title=\"Sunlight hours\" href=\"http:\/\/www.antarctica.gov.au\/about-antarctica\/environment\/weather\/sunlight-hours\">stationed in Antarctica<\/a>, you may well experience days in June when the sun does not rise at all, but this normal and easily explainable event is not what the fake report is referring to).<\/p>\n<p>The report has \u00a0been posted on several \u00a0fake-news and user-contributed &#8216;news&#8217; websites.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, this story is just another version of the long running <a title=\"Fake-News Report Claims NASA has Predicted 15 Days of Darkness in November 2015\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/fake-news-15-days-darkness-nasa.shtml\">&#8216;days of darkness&#8217; hoax<\/a> that has been duping people around the world for several years. <a title=\"HOAX - 'NASA Confirms 6 Days of Total Darkness'\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/fake-news-nasa-6-days-darkness.shtml\">Other versions<\/a> have warned of 3, 6, 8, and 15 NASA confirmed &#8216;days of darkness&#8217; at various dates throughout the year.
