There are no prizes and no winners.<\/p>\n<p>The image used in the scam post is<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-3443477\/Shane-Warne-s-former-personal-assistant-Helen-Nolan-wins-brand-new-Mercedes-Benz-raffle-run-defunct-charity-Triple-M.html\"> stolen from a 2016 news report<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0355887770822260\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"9162856233\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p> The scammers created the fake giveaway post as a means of promoting their fraudulent Facebook page and accumulating large numbers of Page likes. \u00a0 After such a promotion, their Page will have a considerably larger potential audience. They will use this extended reach to launch <a href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/what-is-a-facebook-survey-scam\/\">survey scams<\/a> or other types of fraudulent activity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/category\/scams\/facebook-scams\/\">Fake giveaways<\/a> offering luxury vehicles and other valuable prizes are very common on Facebook. \u00a0 In fact, there have been <a href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/7837-2\/\">dozens of \u00a0 posts<\/a> \u00a0 \u00a0in recent years that have <a href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/yet-another-free-mercedes-benz-scam-hitting-facebook\/\">falsely promised to be giving away<\/a> \u00a0Mercedes Benz cars.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t help these scammers by
