The Page has the name &#8216;Free \u00a0Fortuner \u00a02016 \u00a0Giveaway&#8217;. Supposedly, the two winners will be randomly selected on June 20 and notified via inbox.<\/p>\n<p>However, the post and the associated Facebook Page are fraudulent.  \u00a0Despite its name, the Page is certainly not giving away Fortuners and no amount of liking, sharing, or commenting will give you a chance \u00a0to win one. In fact, this is just one more in a seemingly endless series of fraudulent Facebook Pages that <a title=\"2016 Version Of 'Free Range Rover' Facebook Scam Spreading Rapidly\" href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/2016-version-of-free-range-rover-facebook-scam-spreading-rapidly\/\">promise participants the chance to win high-end \u00a0cars<\/a>. Many <a title=\"Mercedes Benz E63 AMG Giveaway Facebook Scam\" href=\"http:\/\/hoax-slayer.net\/mercedes-benz-e63-amg-giveaway-facebook-scam\/\">earlier variants<\/a> have \u00a0also \u00a0used the &#8216;first time in Facebook history&#8217; claim.<\/p>\n<p>These fake Pages are designed to accumulate large numbers of page likes in a short period of time. By fooling people into liking, sharing, and commenting on the post, the scammers ensure that their material is seen by an increasing pool of potential victims. Their Page can therefore gather a great many new likes very quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Once one of the bogus prize pages has gathered a large \u00a0number of likes, it can then be used to launch <a title=\"What is a Facebook Survey Scam?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/what-is-a-survey-scam.shtml\">survey scams<\/a> or other types of fraudulent activity.
