Supposedly, this is the &#8216;first time in Facebook history&#8217; that such a giveaway has \u00a0been organised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Facebook Page is fraudulent and it is certainly not giving away any \u00a0Ford Everest cars. Participants will win nothing at all. In fact, the Page is a typical like-farming scam designed simply to harvest Page likes. By tricking people into liking, sharing, and commenting, the scammers who created the bogus Page ensure that their scam posts are spread far and wide across Facebook. Thus, their Page will gain a great many new likes very quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Once the Facebook Page has gathered a large number of likes, it can be reused to launch <a title=\"What is a Facebook Survey Scam?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/what-is-a-survey-scam.shtml\">survey scams<\/a> or other spam and scam campaigns, this time to a much \u00a0larger pool of potential victims.
