McDonald&#8217;s has not admitted adding french fry grease to its coffee, it is not putting up signs like the one in the circulating image, and the FDA has not issued any announcement on the supposed french fry grease additive.<\/p>\n<p>The report is just a silly hoax. The supposed sign featured in the hoax is a digitally altered version of an \u00a0<a title=\"Seriously McDonald's - African Americans Pay More Hoax\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/seriously-mcdonalds-hoax.shtml\">earlier hoax image<\/a> \u00a0that claimed &#8211; falsely of course &#8211; that African-American McDonald&#8217;s customers were required to pay more &#8216;due to a recent string of robberies&#8217;. An examination of the two images reveals that they are identical except for the message at the top (see images below).<\/p>\n<p>And, strangely enough, the \u00a0<a title=\"Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Phone Number\" href=\"http:\/\/gethuman.com\/phone-number\/Kentucky-Fried-Chicken-KFC\/\">phone number displayed on the sign<\/a> \u00a0actually belongs to the company&#8217;s fast-food rival, KFC.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the suggestion that adding french fry grease to coffee water would heat it instantly and account for hot coffee burns to customers is just plain silly. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block;
