It was an entry in a Worth1000 photo effects contest titled &#8216;Animal Proportions 4&#8217;. In the picture, the dog is every bit as large as the police horse beside it.<\/p>\n<p>But, of course, the picture does not really show a police officer riding a giant dog. In fact, the image is the result of some rather clever digital manipulation using source pictures of horse-riding police officers and a large dog. The image was the \u00a0<a class=\"norm\" title=\"Mounted Police Dog Unit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.worth1000.com\/entries\/598022\/mounted-police-dog-unit\">winning entry<\/a> \u00a0in a Worth1000 photo effects contest named \u00a0<a class=\"norm\" title=\"Animal Proportions 4\" href=\"http:\/\/www.worth1000.com\/contests\/25501\/animal-proportions-4\">Animal Proportions 4<\/a> \u00a0and was created by Worth1000 contributor, \u00a0steveRS. (Note that <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.designcrowd.com\/article\/898\/worth1000-on-designcrowd\">Worth1000 is now part of DesignCrowd<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the manipulation is very well done and at least a few recipients have apparently been fooled.
