Supposedly, \u00a0 Dwayne will select \u00a0people who share and download as winners of the pictured cash and prizes. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0355887770822260\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"9162856233\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p> But, in fact, the posts \u00a0have no connection to \u00a0Dwayne &#8216;The Rock&#8217; Johnson whatsoever and those who are tricked into participating have no chance of winning any cash or prizes. The promised cash and prizes do not exist.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DwayneJohnson\/?ref=br_rs\">real \u00a0Dwayne &#8216;The Rock&#8221; Johnson Facebook Page<\/a>, which includes \u00a0Facebook&#8217;s blue Verified Page icon beside the name, makes no mention of such giveaways.<\/p>\n<p>The posts are scams designed to trick you into visiting \u00a0a decidedly \u00a0dodgy video hosting website that \u00a0asks for your personal and financial information. \u00a0 The site claims that the movie downloads are free \u00a0but insists that you provide your credit card details as a means \u00a0of validating your account.<\/p>\n<p>Any company \u00a0that allows itself to be promoted via outright scams such as bogus celebrity giveaways certainly should not be trusted with your credit card numbers or any other personal information.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, this fake Dwayne Johnson giveaway is just one among a recent spate of similar Facebook scams that have used the names of several high-profile celebrities, including \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/watch-out-for-tyler-perry-scam-pages-on-facebook\/\">Tyler Perry<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/fake-janet-jackson-facebook-page-promises-free-money-and-prizes\/\">Janet Jackson<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/fake-will-smith-facebook-pages-offering-cash-and-prizes-as-bait\/\">Will Smith<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If one of these scam Facebook posts comes your way, do not like,
