However, opening the attached file can install malware on the user&#8217;s computer. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0355887770822260\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"9162856233\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p> Companies House has \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/scam-emails-claiming-to-be-from-companies-house\">published the following warning<\/a> \u00a0about the malware attack:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We&#8217;re aware that some customers have received suspicious emails about company complaints. These emails are not from us.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The warning advises recipients \u00a0not to open any attachments in the emails.<\/p>\n<p>These campaigns are reminiscent of \u00a0<a class=\"norm\" title=\"Better Business Bureau 'Complaint Received' Malware Emails\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.com\/bbb-malware-emails.shtml\">earlier malware attacks<\/a> \u00a0that claimed that the Better Business Bureau had received a complaint about the recipient.
