The lions in turn ran towards \u00a0Alec, who then decided to flee.<\/p>\n<p>The report \u00a0claims that a Kruger National Park ranger fired some shots to scare the lions away but not before one of the lions injured Prophet \u00a0Ndiwane&#8217;s buttocks.<\/p>\n<p>The story features a photograph supposedly depicting \u00a0Prophet \u00a0Ndiwane being attacked by the enraged lions.<\/p>\n<p>But, the story so far remains totally unsubstantiated and may well be just a silly hoax.<\/p>\n<p>When investigating the story, fact checking publication <a title=\"Did a Christian prophet challenge lions to a fight in the Kruger National Park?\" href=\"https:\/\/africacheck.org\/reports\/did-a-christian-prophet-challenge-lions-to-a-fight-in-the-kruger-national-park\/\">Africa Check<\/a> contacted \u00a0Kruger National Park for comment. A park spokesperson told \u00a0Africa Check that there had \u00a0been no reports of such an incident and called the story \u00a0a hoax.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, a quick reverse image search reveals that the photograph featured in the \u00a0report is taken from years old media articles \u00a0about &#8216;lion whisperer&#8217; Kevin Richardson.
