The delivery of the malware apparently \u00a0depends on the device and operating system that you are using to access the scam website. \u00a0 If your device is not vulnerable to the malware, you may be automatically redirected to the genuine FedEx website.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, you may be prompted \u00a0to download a &#8220;shipping status&#8221; document that contains the malware. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0355887770822260\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"9162856233\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p> Online criminals have long used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/fedex-incorrect-delivery-address-malware-email\/\">fake FedEx delivery notification emails<\/a> to distribute malware. \u00a0 Be wary of any unsolicited email that claims to be from FedEx and urges you to click a link or open an attachment to print out a shipping label or get information about an order.<\/p>\n<p>If you receive such a message, do not click any links or open any attachments that it contains.
