It is not associated with Krispy Kreme and those \u00a0who participate will never receive the promised box of doughnuts.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the post is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/facebook-like-farming-scams\/\">just a scam designed to promote a bogus Facebook Page<\/a>. \u00a0 By tricking people into sharing and commenting, the scammers can quickly build a much larger audience for their fake Facebook Page.<\/p>\n<p>They can then use the Page to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/what-is-a-facebook-survey-scam\/\">launch further scams<\/a>, this time to a considerably larger pool of potential victims. Alternatively, they may sell the page on the black market to other scammers who will use it for their own nefarious purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Krispy Kreme does <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thespruceeats.com\/how-to-get-free-krispy-kreme-donuts-1356882\">regularly give away doughnuts<\/a> as promotions. \u00a0 However, \u00a0the company would certainly not give away a full box of doughnuts to every single person who liked and shared a Facebook post. \u00a0 If they did, the company \u00a0would find itself \u00a0obligated to give away hundreds of thousands of boxes of their products. Such a promotion would be cripplingly expensive, even for a \u00a0 large \u00a0company like Krispy Kreme.<\/p>\n<p>Giveaway scams are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/category\/scams\/facebook-scams\/\">very common on Facebook<\/a>, and scammers have targetted Krispy Kreme fans several times in the past via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoax-slayer.net\/free-krispy-kreme-doughnuts-facebook-scam\/\">similar \u00a0fake giveaway posts<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block;
