According to this email, unusual activity on your American Express account has raised security concerns and you need to click a link to login and secure your account.
However, the email is certainly not from AmEx. It is a typical phishing scam designed to trick you into divulging your personal and financial information to cybercriminals. Clicking the link takes you to a fake website that ask you to provide your credit card details, contact details,and other personal information.
If you submit this information on the fake site, it can be collected by criminals and used to commit credit card fraud and identity theft.
If you receive this emails, do not click any links or open any attachments that it contains.
