1: Picture of Little Girl Ghost Caught on Deer Cam
Outline:
Widely circulated image purportedly shows the ghost of a little girl in a gingham dress captured by a hidden deer cam.
Brief Analysis:
Alas, the little girl ghost is not real. The image was created with a smart phone app called “Ghost Capture”. The gingham clad youngster is just one of a large selection of “ghosts” that app users can add to their images.
This pic was taken by someones deer cam. The pic befor n after still has Buck in It but no little girl .the guy who shared this says hes not going out to his deer blind again. But nice buck.

2: Ghost Under Bed Chain Letter
Outline:
Email chain letter that includes an image of a ghostly figure under a hospital bed warns recipients that the ghost will collect their soul if they do not send the message to five people.
Brief Analysis:
Although it may look a little scary, there is nothing supernatural about its origins. The image is derived from the DVD cover illustration for a 2003 Thai horror film entitled “The Unborn”. Nothing dire will befall those who do not pass on the message.

This couple was murdered by their 15 year old neighbor who claims to have been possessed by the woman.A 28 year old woman in Whittlesay Road, Cambridgeshire, England, was run down by a car driven by another female that fit the description of the woman in the photograph, the police investigation revealed that the murdered lady had received this picture only 4 hours before her untimely death and did not pass it on to at least 5 people.
3: Facebook Messages from Dead Girlfriend
Outline:
Circulating message relates the scary tale of a man who continues to receive Facebook messages from his girlfriend even though she died in a 2012 car accident.
Brief Analysis:
The story does not describe real events. It is a work of fiction. The piece was first posted on the Reddit ‘NoSleep’ community, a place where members can share original scary stories.

4: Images Of Strange Mermaid Found On Beach
Outline:
Circulating photographs of a strange sea-creature are claimed to depict the body of a mermaid or alien found on a beach.
Brief Analysis:
The photographs do not depict a real mermaid or alien. Instead they show a sculpture by artist Juan Cabana.

5: Sundarbans Ghost Chain Letter
Outline:
Message that includes an image of a ghostly girl in the Sundarbans claims that bad luck will befall those who do not forward the message.
Brief Analysis:
The claims in the email are untrue. The “ghost girl” has been added to the photograph of the young man using image manipulation software such as Photoshop.
Subject: Fw: Read before u view the picture – Believe it notThe guy in the photo went to the Sundarbans with his friends and he asked 1 of his friends to take his picture in that very place. While his friend was taking the picture he screamed and fainted, 2 days later he died in the medical college. Doctors said he died because of heart attack.When the photos were exposed, in the last photo there was a lady standing right beside him though friends claim that he was standing alone.Many people said it is a rumor and the picture is the result of the blessings of latest technology. However, the photo itself is very scary and I’m sure you’ll also feel the same way I’ve felt. Here you go with the photo!!!A navy officer sent this letter to 13 people and he was promoted.. A business man received this letter and threw it away..not believing in it.. and he lost everything he had within 13 days.. It reached a labourer and he distributed it to 13 people.. he was promoted and all his problems were solved within 13 days..
