VIDEO – More FedEx “Incorrect Delivery Address”; Malware Emails

Outline

Emails purporting  to be from delivery  company FedEx claim that a package sent to you has  been taken  to a local office because it could not be delivered due to an incorrect delivery address. They instruct you to click a link  or open an attached file to print out a shipping invoice.

Analysis

The emails are not from FedEx. Clicking the links or opening the attachments in these emails can install malware on your computer. These malware emails have been distributed in various forms for several years.

Alternative versions may claim to be from other well-known delivery companies. The Hoax-Slayer YouTube video below provides more information about these FedEx malware attacks.
