Several Facebook pages that have appeared in recent weeks are claiming that users can win holidays to Legoland, theme park tickets, and other prizes.
Posts on the Facebook Pages claim that you can like, share, and comment and then follow a link to get a chance to win the promised prize. They feature Legoland logos, images, and videos to make them appear authentic.
However, these Pages are fraudulent and are not associated with Legoland. Those who participate have no chance of winning any Legoland holidays or tickets.
The Official Legoland Windsor Facebook Page has published a warning about the scams, noting:
We are aware of on-going competitions being shared on Facebook that claim to be from the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. These are NOT genuine or in any way affiliated with our attraction.
Action is being taken to remove these and we urge guests not to share their personal details or forward these posts on to their contacts. For more advice visit http://fal.cn/VxCJ
There is more information about the scams on the Legoland Windsor website here.
If one of the scam Legoland posts comes your way, do not like, share or comment on it. And do not click any links that it contains.
