A post that is currently being shared on Facebook claims to be giving away two 2017 Jeep Wranglers as part of a “Summer Promotion”.
All you need to do for a chance to win, claims the post, is like the Facebook Page the post comes from, share the post, comment “done” to register your vote, and click a link.
The post includes a promotional video that discusses the features of the Jeeps supposedly being given away.
But, alas, the post is a Facebook scam designed to trick you into first spamming your friends with the same fake giveaway and then supplying your personal information on scam survey websites. No Jeeps are being given away.
The promotional video is stolen from a Canadian Chrysler dealership website.

Scams like this one are very common on Facebook. If one comes your way, don’t be tempted to participate. You will not win anything and, by participating, you will not only help scammers but expose all of your friends to the scam as well.
